Name your feelings and emotions with greater clarity

An emotions wheel helps you name what you’re feeling in the moment.

When we can name what we’re feeling, research shows we experience less anxiety, stress and better connection with people. A good emotions wheel helps us find the right word and better manager our feelings.

We use a scientific model based on the 8 basic emotions of Robert Plutchik’s wheel of emotions. Starting from the basic 8 in the center of the wheel you can learn to label feelings better. This wheel is great for therapists, coaches, counselors, teachers, individuals and families.

The colorful and logical arrangement of feelings does two things. It makes our feelings discussable and it brings order to otherwise unruly emotions!

Plutchik’s theory is based on biology and uses the contrast of opposites. This makes it easier to pinpoint what you’re feeling and give a name to it. Also, our wheel has a total of 128 different emotions on it, giving you a wider range of words to expand your emotional intelligence.

*Special note: Our store has emotions wheels with a spectrum of emotions on them, from 8 to 48 or 128. In general, a smaller number of emotions is better to use for those beginning to explore their feelings or for younger people starting out. A large wheel with many different feelings on it can be useful for professionals or more experienced people seeking to grow their vocabulary. At the same time it can be overwhelming or confusing for some people, so be sure to check out our full range of products.
